"Bentley" & "Charlie"

On the next few pages I hope to share with you one of the greatest loves of my life

Cats, felines, kittens, furbabies

"Another Cat?  Perhaps.  For love there is also a season; it's seeds must be resown.  But a family cat is not replaceable like a worn-out coat or a set of tires.  Each new kitten becomes its own cat, and none is repeated.  I am four cats old, measuring out my life in friends that have succeeded but not replaced one another" - - Irving Townsend

I have had the pleasure of sharing my life with cats - all types of cats,  barn cats, rescue cats, feral cats, and registered cats.  No matter what kind of cat or where they had come from, they  all hold a special place in my heart.

My husband and I attended our first cat show in 1991.  We continued going to cat shows  as spectators to learn as much as possible about the different breeds.  You can read all the books printed but if you really want to know about a cat, talk to the breeders.  As I have learned, there are no unintelligent questions.  If you show a sincere interest most breeders will be more than happy to open up a whole new cat world to you!  Remember this is our PRIDE AND JOY and we take it very seriously.

"ThatDarnCat" Cattery was created in 2003 in Killeen, Texas,  a cattery name registered with the Cat Fanciers' Association.  We have relocated to Mesa, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix in the Valley of the Sun, but still remain a small home based cattery producing one or two litters a year.  We breed for a healthy, large, loving lap cat with a wonderful personality.  This dream has been in the making for a very long time and I am extremely excited in it's reality!

"No amount of time can erase the memory of a good cat, no amount of masking tape can ever totally remove his fur from you couch"- - Leo Deworken
